Shaolin & Wudang Kung Fu with Allen & Heath iLive Digital Mixer
Austrian production company, Theatre Productions, is currently supporting the European tour of ‘Shaolin & Wudang Kung Fu – the other side of China’, employing Allen & Heath’s new iLive digital system and a Meyer Melodie line array as the core of the touring PA rig.
The 2-hour martial arts spectacle features the classical elements of Wudang Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu with a display of the Tai Chi techniques of the Shaolin and Wudang masters. The tour will visit many venues across Europe including Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Greece and the UK.
Georg Hartmann, owner of Theatre Productions, invested in the new iLive digital system and the Melodie line array as Allen & Heath and Meyer are well known for their technical expertise and the high quality of their products for the professional audio market.
“The system sounds excellent, offers a lot of possibilities and is easy to use,” Theatre Productions’ technical operator, Thomas Löffler, commented during rehearsals in Vienna. ”We are very excited about using these new products and getting to grips with the new digital technology of iLive in an actual touring environment.”
