PA Sound Partners Limited adds Allen & Heath GL4800 Mixing Console
Allen & Heath's New Zealand distributor, Jansen Audio & Lighting, has supplied Auckland-based PA and installation company, Sound Partners Limited (SPL), with one of the latest GL Series multi-function live sound consoles. The company, which has an extensive inventory of Allen & Heath mixers, has purchased a 40-channel GL4800 to complement their existing stock of MixWizards and older GL models.
"We manage a lot of local festivals and smaller international events so the mixer needs to be very user friendly. We simply needed more channels and more functionality than we currently had but we couldn't see the return coming back off a larger format console. Experience has proved Allen & Heath mixers are cost effective and reliable, so we decided to continue with what had proved to be a successful format. They do the job well and anyone can get good results from them," comments SPL's director, Steve Coubrough.
SPL specialises in concert and festival productions, tours, and corporate events, and recent events include touring with Tadpole and The Feelers, the Waiheke Jazz Festival, live broadcasts for Juice TV and Rock FM, as well as managing product launches for Porsche and Coca Cola.
