Club S Series Loudspeakers, same great sound but a new look
Performance, durability, quality materials and affordability have established the Yamaha Club Series as a popular sound reinforcement line among audio professionals, gigging musicians, houses of worship and small-to-medium sized venues. In response to diverse applications and customer demand for additional enclosure options, Yamaha Professional Audio will debut the Club S Series at Summer NAMM 2001.

The Club S Series features a high-quality, extremely durable black polyurethane elastomeric bonded exterior, creating a high-tech look and greater shock absorption. This all-weather treatment will accept any color paint to integrate into all environments. In addition, cabinets include dual 1/4-in. connectors, corner protectors and heavy-duty carrying handles. Heavy gauge, perforated steel grilles provide additional component protection and guarantee years of great performance.
"Many sound system installations—such as nightclubs and churches—demand a more modern, high-tech appearance," states Wayne Hrabak, marketing manager, Professional Audio. "Live performances often require that speaker cabinets be customized to create a certain 'look' to blend into the show. Certain touring applications demand an exterior finish that is more durable than standard carpet or lacquer. The five models of the Club S Series answer all those needs."

The S112IVS and floor monitor version SM112IVS each feature a two-way bass reflex design. A 12-in. woofer and 2-in. high frequency driver provide an ideal combination for vocals, with power handling rated at a maximum of 400W.
The S115IVS and S115IVAS contain a 15-in. low frequency and 2-in. high frequency driver, coupled to a 90º x 45º constant-directivity horn. In addition, the S115IVAS comes complete with pre-installed hanging hardware for permanent applications.
The SW118IVS subwoofer is designed for maximum bass impact and low frequency augmentation. The 18-in. cast frame transducer can withstand a punishing amount of program material, providing solid low end to 40 Hz, and power handling rated at a maximum of 800W.

"The Club S Series offers the same great sound, rugged construction and value that customers have enjoyed for over 10 years," states John Schauer, product manager, Professional Audio. "This additional finish option opens up the Club Series to a brand new segment of users."
