Celebrate Brooklyn summer outdoor festival with SLS Loudspeakers
Celebrate Brooklyn wrapped up another successful season using an SLS Loudspeakers RLA/1 system as the official speaker system for the summer outdoor performing arts festivals, which featured performances by the Phantom of the Opera with Alloy Orchestra, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Hugh Masekela, PHILADANCO and Eddie Palmieri, among others.
“It is an honor to be involved with such a music institution as Celebrate Brooklyn for the second year in a row,” says Rod Falconer, national sales manager for SLS Loudspeakers. “Since last year’s show, we have seen the RLA/1s being used for many other events of this magnitude. The SLS system gives audiences and musicians a clear natural sound far beyond anything anyone has ever heard. We were very excited to have a system of this size installed in the NYC area as it gave us increased exposure to tens of thousands of consumers.”
Founded in 1979, Celebrate Brooklyn presents cultural, educational, and informational programs that reflect Brooklyn’s diverse mix of emerging, cutting-edge and world-renowned artists, as well as an amazing outdoor cinema series for over 250,000 people at the Prospect Park Bandshell. This summer institution has earned a reputation for excellence and attracts local and international artists. Celebrate Brooklyn is one of New York City’s longest-running, free summer outdoor performing arts festivals.
