Auto-Tuning in Your Headphones, New RF Wireless Headphones from SennheiserSennheiser is adding three new wireless models to its headphone range: The RS 45, RS 65 and RS 85 come equipped with Center-Lock™ Auto-Tuning, a special search tuning system. A simple touch of a button, and the headphones will automatically adjust to the station chosen on the transmitter. The result is high precision audio quality.Everyone has seen search tuning on modern car radios. Now Sennheiser has adapted this technology for headphones and has fitted its latest RF wireless models with an auto-tune function. The new models therefore combine ease of operation with excellent acoustics and reliable radio transmission. The RS 45 is a natural for getting started into Sennheiser’s new wireless dimension. Just like all other models in the RS Series, it will let you enjoy flawless reception up to a distance of 100 meters from the transmitter. Walls and ceilings are no hinderance. In addition, an audio filter built into the transmitter reliably prevents interference from television sets. Of course, many headphones can be used with the same transmitter. The RS 45’s wide frequency response, its detailed, analytic sound reproduction and excellent bass response will give rock and pop fans unspoilt listening pleasure. And, like the other Auto-Tuning models, simply setting the RS 45 on the transmitter automatically charges the environmentally-friendly headphone battery. The same frequency response, but with a higher maximum sound pressure level, generates a clear, open and balanced sound in the circumaural RS 65. Thanks to high-quality velour ear pads and its extremely low weight, listening sessions are pure pleasure. The highlight of these hi-fi stereo RF wireless headphones is doubtlessly the switchable SRS™ processor that gives the RS 65 incomparable surround sound. This means your television can be turned into a home theater, and with orchestral recordings you feel as if you are in a concert hall. Featuring a silver-grey fork and headband, the look of the RS 85 tells you that this is a model that satisfies even the most discriminating tastes. The circumaural RS 85 sets the pace technically with the HiDyn plus noise reduction system. This is a Sennheiser development which makes sure that even the quiet passages in classical music are as good as noise-free.
